After a solid 11 years since taking a drop in figure class, today I got back on the horse. Drawing horse, that is. Loosened back into a rhythm with quick sketches, even though the rest of the room of regulars committed to one piece for the whole three hours. Reacquainted myself with working on larger paper. Struggled through proportions. Threw away old, dried up materials. This was a good reminder to not be distracted by the journey of others, and to invest time to practice my craft.
